Noise Case: Board of Mgrs. of the 257 W. 17th St. Condominiums v 257 Assoc. Borrower LLC

This case involved a gym located in a residential condominium. Weight drops, among other noises, were measured by Acoustilog in the dwelling units and found to exceed the Noise Code. Despite hiring their own acoustical consultants, the gym was eventually forced to close, having not taken successful steps to sufficiently reduce the noise problem.
